My Gardening Habit

As those of you who know me are aware of my "gardening habit" I apologize for the following....

My gardening habit consists of a minimum 1 hour a day dedicated to my plants, annuals, perennials and tropical.  I visit nurseries like a true collector... got it, got it, got it, need it... It used to take 1+ hour to cut the lawn with a large gas mower, it now takes 20 min with a tiny electric mower!(Love the noise reduction and ease of use).  My goal was to get rid of the grass... I'm well on my way!

So let's start from the beginning...

I know, this looks sort of desolated but keep in mind it's only the 6th of March in a growing zone 5b.  Let's see how soon the first buds show up.

This is me and Shelley (2Messy) we're soaking up the rays!  It is an early spring, the local groundhog was right!

Experiment #1

Lettuce (mesclun mix) and sweet peas to make and aqua-culture garden in the top pond.  Hoping the fish provide the fertilizer and the roots feed my fish.

 SURPRISE!!!

The snow has been melting at a record speed and....the daffodils are up!!!

However, spring isn't here yet so I'll have to be content with indoor gardening(keeps me plenty busy beleive me!   Between the Orchids, Jasmine, spider plants and all the tropical plants I collect, you will find a veritable lexus of flowers in my following blogs.

This is a robin (rouge gorge)...  SPRING IS HERE!!!!  :)

I know it's blurry... I'm 100 ft away!

I welcome all comments and questions.
Hope you'll keep reading me!

Salutations,

Maryse
